So what do y'all think of those leads generated by online surveys that offer someone who fills out the survey form a free Burger King Whopper or some such inducement? And then when they mark the box NO where it asks if they'd like to be contacted by a licensed agent with information on -whatever kind of insurance you offer- you get it as an interested lead anyway and call them up?

Don't think much of this kind of lead, anyway. And if they checked "no", are you getting charged for it? I'd be more than ticked!

Work for an agency where most of the leads are as described above. Vendor doesn't offer any kind of lead credit either. Internet leads seem to be a really dicey proposition; one month the lead source is solid, then they turn to absolute junk. Its really hard to find any consistent quality with them.

Its impossible to find a "lead" that is of worse quality. Incentivized leads are the bottom of the barrel lead quality in the industry. The lead seller will try to appeal to you by explaining how good the ROI is, which may be true, but the total volume an agent can produce with these subpar leads wont allow for you to maintain even a lower middle class lifestyle.
