Hi I am new here and new business owner. I just opened my insurance agency February 2016. I have hit a roadblock with getting appointments. I have 3 so far 1 commercial, 1 renters (they are revamping there auto program in my state so I cant issue new bz for auto), and one specialty. It seems like the non standard Auto I wanted are going to hold off due to my old employer blocking me. I know I just opened but should I wait for more appointments and work with what I have, or join a group? I do have a membership with PIA and can sell some of there companies but I don't like the 100/300 limits and the wait time to actually get a policy issued. I would appreciate any advise or comments. I am licensed P & C.
