There doesn't seem to have been much recent discussion about a life agent working a P&C book.
Has anyone done this?
Specifically, what commission split do you think would be fair? Assume two scenarios:
It would naturally have to be in writing and have an appropriate "script", and there be some common philosophy about service, ethics, etc.
Thank you in advance for your input.

- The P&C agent has no "active" involvement with the process, and the life agent just works from home.
- The life agent uses the agency's office to make calls and set appointments. (Obviously, the P&C agent would be due a more favorable split.)
