Last year was my first year as an LLC. Prior to that my E&O always automatically renewed, and they didn't charge anything to renew. In fact, a few years the rate actually dropped. I never put a lot of thought into it since I never used the E&O and it was so cheap and it automatically renewed.
However, since I have to manually renew now with this new company, I noticed they are also wanting me to pay an extra fee ($157!) to renew! The E&O was expensive enough to cover my agency, but now they want to charge me an extra $157 to renew!
I don't know if this is common practice or not, but I was surprised. Was wonder if y'all have the same experience. if not, who are you using? This past year I used NAPA-benefits.org for the E&O
