Hello Everyone,

As you probably all know the PCIP option is now closed https://www.pcip.gov/. My client was going to be able to apply for Nevada's PCIP coverage on March 8th, but now she can't. So I'm looking for any and all possible alternatives. I'm not sure anyone can help, but I would be extremely grateful for any advice you can provide.

She is a 62 year old female and she was denied coverage by Aetna almost 6 months ago for the following reasons: Joint Replacement (knee), Diverticulitis, Ongoing use of Lipitor, Lupus.

She would be probably be happy with just about any kind of health insurance she can get, but I'm not sure what she could qualify for. Any, suggestions or advice is appreciated.

Thank You in advance

That's about what I thought. What if she doesn't receive treated for any of these conditions for 6 months? Doesn't Nevada have a maximum 6 month look back period?

Thanks Again!

OR TEXAS..............................

If she is in Nevada she can apply for coverage through the county. She can also go to Nevada Health Centers who provide care to those without insurance on a sliding scale. May not do anything for your commissions but a client helped could mean big rewards later. Such as medicare and any final expense life insurance.

All the best
