PDP comp and renewals

Maybe I was wrong about this, but was thinking PDP renewals were lifetime. Just reviewed a contract with Envision and they have it listed as year 1-6. It seemed to go against what I thought all the other PDP carriers were doing. Can anyone else confirm this?

I believe they are lifetime as well, which is congruent with the MAPD commissions, which would make sense. I would ask Envision for clarity.

I am being told by one FMO that their contract says nothing about year 1-6. Theirs shows "year 2+" at renewal rate. Mine shows Years 1-6 (Initial $74, renewal $37).

i'd like a contract to offer envision to my clients. Should I contract Envision directly or go through an FMO?
