I have searched the forum, however, apps and phone technology change pretty rapidly.

Suggestions on phone apps?

Some I use:
Google Maps
FEXQuotes
Google Voice
Keep
Google Translate
Pandora
CloudPrint
GasBuddy
Google Calendar

Any suggestion? Setting up a new phone. Note 5

TripLog is vital if you ever drive miles for "business."

It has changed a little over the years, I think the version I have now is TripLog 2.0 Mileage Tracker - and I also bought the "upgrade" for the custom reports (date range rather than just "quarter" or "yearly" miles).

DropBox
CSG Actuarial (If you do Med Sups)

What is Keep? That might be similar to DropBox.

Keep is a place I make lists, to dos and build projects with pictures. Sketch something, collaborate on a project. I can also share them. The more I use it the more I find uses for it. My phone has built in stylus so that helps also.

TurboScan. I forgot that one. I use it every day.

Rarely use my office scanner anymore.

Twitter
Mlb at bat
William hill app

I just had my note 4 die as well. So far (in the last few weeks or so) these are the main ones that I've added to my new phone.

What happens when you have 20+ pages to scan? Isn't a scanner (with auto feeder) a lot faster?

TurboScan - how do the edges look? Does it edit the document to fit the page.

Thanks looking a couple different scanners.

Just set up an Uber account yesterday.

I really liked my Note 4. Expandable memory via SD card, replaceable batteries. The 5 does no have that. A step backwards.

Note 4 - if anyone has one I have a near new Otterbox, new stylus and several batteries and block chargers I will send to you in exchange for a donation to a Veterans Organization.

----------

Another - I Hotspot Shield. A VPN when using public wifi and hotel's wifi

I didn't throw my office scanner in the lake or anything. But most of the time you're scanning between 1 to 5 pages. And it's super convenient plus the scans look just as good if not better.

And what about the times that you're out at someone's home and you're replacing the current policy and you want to have a scan of pages 1,3 and 5 for your records. Bam! Done!

How do you secure the images on the phone (compliance, etc.)? I can encrypt .pdfs on my computer pretty easily... but if there is a way to do it on the phone that would be cool.
