Plans to cover supplement juvenile type 1 diabetes

Hi everyone,
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. A friend of mine's son was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes... he's maybe 4-5 years old. They live in Orange County, FL 32836. Can anyone recommend any suggestions for full coverage or supplemental health plans (specifically for diabetes) to assist them please?
