Presidential Life is not a prefect fit for every situation, but when you run into the right situation you'll wish they had them. Presidential Life is based out of Nyack, NY. They're a B+ (Good) rated company with no debt as of early last year. Two situations you'll want Presidential life for are for the virtually guaranteed issue life insurance or for a place to start an investor that has limited means. Their life insurance is "virtually" guaranteed issue; if you're meeting with a client who is overweight, several heart attacks, diabetes, and is just a mess, then Presidential will take them as long as they meet the age guidelines, know they're buying insurance, not in a nursing home or assisted living facility, and not incarcerated. Everything else is insurable, EVERYTHING ELSE. Please contact me for commission levels, they're relatively low compared to other carriers and do not advance, but it's a great product to sell if someone has a poor health history.
The second situation you'll love Presidential for is when you have someone who wants to start setting aside money for an annuity, but does cannot commit to much on a monthly basis. With Presidential Life they have a minimum contribution of $120/year. Clearly your client should be able to do more than that, but even a college freshmen can set aside $10/month for retirement so it will help you help your clients get in the habit of setting aside money so that it can grow and you can either move it into another Presidential Life annuity or potentially somewhere else.
For the New York agents who typically have only been able to write American Progressive or Columbian, Presidential is now offering a simplified issue WL product!
