Hey guys, first time poster here (veteran though of the famous disabilityinsuranceforums website years ago)!

What is the occupation class for a teacher in California? I found the underwriting guide online but has a range between 3-5.
Thanks in advance!

Ohhh got it. In this case, she's a 3rd grade teacher and has a bachelor's degree. I'm speculating she's a class 4 and the 5 might be for doctorate educated....

Need a Master's to be a 4A (from memory-I could be off). She'd likely be 3A and restricted by municipal/gov't workers conditions.

The only teachers I find that are good prospects are professors from private institutions.

Just my experience, though.
