Got an odd one. Lady takes Procrit but has never had cancer, kidney issues etc just has low iron (anemic). unrelated but has also taken insulin for 15 yrs or so. Normal height weight, no tobacco, 70 yrs old.

Having trouble getting her anything but GI which seems ridiculous since she doesn't have anything except Diabetes and low iron. Anyone ever came across this?

I think you will have many options other than GI in this situation. I would go Prosperity Level. You can do the eApp and get an instant decision. If it is rated up (Graded/Modified/Declined) it will tell you on the screen the exact reason why. Then you can get them to take the rated up policy OR find a company that accepts whatever is showing up that declined it.

A last resort would be United Home Life Express Issue Graded. It will take it and be a better deal for the client than a GI plan. It will also pay you Full Comp.

Prosperity would be a great one to try for the EAPP. If it doesn't go through, it will literally pop up on the screen as to why they didn't approve it whether that be a certain medication or something on MIB. If something pops up, you can pivot from there and know EXACTLY what you are dealing with. Good luck
