Anyone work professional practices as a niche?

Doctors, dentists, attorneys, accountants, etc.

They need general liability, workers comp, etc.
Also disability (personal, overhead, etc.) and more.

E & O covers their most glaring risks. Don't forget about e&o.

I don't specialize in any of these types of professions, but I can share my experience writing, and quoting them here in California, which may be helpful to you. I've quoted and or written most of the people that you you have mentioned, and most of them have access to some sort of specialty program that is available to doctors, dentists, attorneys, whatever their profession may be. For a lot of them as soon as I started trying to quote them they said "Oh, I have such and such program through the blah blah blah network of America". When I checked with my agency owner, he said don't even bother trying to compete. It was a dead end most times.

I would look into that first. Make sure you know what you're getting into. Personally, I wouldn't focus on a niche unless I could write all lines.
