Well since US financial is no longer writing biz. I have lost my carrie with good smoker rates.

I am looking at using Prudential for smokless tobacco users.
They are rating them as Standard Plus non smoking.

Any feedback on them?

Their rates are decent, but you may want to try RBC/Liberty for Smoker and Smokeless tobacco users. Their rates have been unbeatable on all of my tobacco cases. I had a 68 year old gentleman recently, regular snuff user, non tob std.

Prudential has always been my go to place for non-cigarette tobacco users since USFL stopped taking business. Always got fair approvals. Im not a fan of Liberty, while they do offer good smoker rates, I find they are pretty picky in underwriting and give unfair rate class approvals compared to other carriers.

I have used Prudential for smokeless tobacco cases, usually quick approval, just be sure you re getting a decent contract as some FMO's have terrible contracts thru PRU

For your smokeless tobacco users (chewing, patch, gum and Cigar) Prudential offers non tobacco tobacco rates (has to be admitted on the application). This is for positive or negative HOS.

John Hancock offers Preferred non tobacco for cigar usage (less than 12 a year) and negitive HOS.

John Hancock also has a quit smoking incentive offering non tobacco rates for the first 3 years (this is for UL only).

I thought that John Hancock would not allow an app for less than $750,000 these days. Is that true or no?

John Hancock term minimum is $750,000 however, their UL minimum is $100,000,
