Was contacted by 78 about how F plan is getting too expensive. looking for options. Can you switch to a different plan with the same company without underwriting and if she decides on an MA plan can she switch as of November and could her current part D also switch to new MA-PD plan in Nov. also
Thanks

I guess UHC will let you change up or down without UW. You could probably save her money by going with another company on Plan F or go with G or N if she can pass UW.

You can write her a MA/MAPD in November, but it won't be effective until 01/01/2016.

Steve, check out the prices for Plan G or even Plan N. Those might be viable options as well.

As far as MAPD and/or PDP switch in Nov., unless she has an LIS or other SEP so can enroll in Nov but won't be effective until Jan.

Holy acronyms Batman!

If you don't understand the latter two, you should not be working with MA or PDP.

If you're looking in Philadelphia or the 5 county area, check out Aetna. They have the best rates on Plan G and Plan N.
