Hello all. I'm interested in becoming a State Farm agent. I have a couple licenses and looking to enter the field now full time. I have a couple questions and would appreciate any feedback or knowledge. Thank you in advance.
#1. My credit was over 800 two years ago. Some personal events in my life have left my credit ruined (about 650 now). Is that a deal breaker?
#2. I've noticed some people open an office relatively quickly (within a few years) of becoming a fully licensed agent. At the same time others have become team members and stayed at that position. Is it possible for anyone to own an office eventually? Is it all at the companies discretion? How does that process work?
