Could someone help me find a Reasonable FMO (commision related) with Secure Horizons / Evercare that is not a Captive Agency?

Thanks a Million!

Senior Marketing Specialists. I don't have my contract with them for that but I have Today's option for pffs through there and Sterlin Investors for med supps. They do I have a captive side but I am not captive with them. I just recently found out that they had a captive side. They offer about all the pffs companies.

Thanks senior-advisor-indiana. This is actually for a close friend of mine who was to originally join up with our company...but I'd hate for him to get screwed like the rest of us! Even when I exit I will not get a release until 6 months after departure.

I do not know what you consider reasonable for Secure Horizons. I know that for 2008, Trusted Senior Services is paying $400 per MA. They are able to sign you up with any of the MA and MAPDs in your area. The only one I had to specifically ask for them to get for me was the GTL product that is being marketed as a "gap coverage" for Medicare Advantage plans. Which is actually a hospital indemnity plan, but I LOVE the way it is being marketed because it will be easy to add this on to all the MAs I sell this year and the ones I come across who are happy with the coverage they already have (that way I am not replacing someting they are happy with, but enhancing what they already have).
Also, this is NOT a captive FMO. AND I am able to keep all my direct contracts with all my pre-need companies.
If, he does, however, sign up with all the MAs (except Sterling because it actually is the only one I have found that is TRULY captive) thru TSS, he will be able to get great leads and even an appointment setter if he needs one!
Just ask for Jim Kennedy when you call, he is the one who seems to get the most done for the agents (matching commissions of other FMOs and IMOs).
Let me know how it goes if he decides to go with them. It would be good to know if they are as receptive to other agents or if it just me because I am so DARN DEMANDING!!

FOLKS Go DIRECT with Secure Horizons. Captive??? That is not enforced and there is no way to check.

I am/was a GA selling Aetna, Molina, WellCare. These are all horrible at paying. The whole industry is bad, and what is worse, you may get charge backs without getting credit for 75% of your production (at least that is what WellCare does) My agents and I write good business.

Become an ICA with SH. If you produce more the 5 or 10 applications, they won't care. They are just trying to develop a new direct sale channel. You will get support that you won't get from an FMO.
It is $550/ ap. You can work Wal-Marts. SH/AARP has strong retention rates. I wrote 14 applications for WellCare this year. 5 terminated because we could find a dentist that would honor the plan (even though they were in the network) and the doctors would not accept the PFFS plan. Another 5 they never gave me credit for. I still have 4 out of 14. With Secure Horizons, I have been paid on 43 of 45 so far. I am not a GA with them I am direct though. They know I do other business, but as far as I am concerned, it is not worth it. Some cases Artna, edges them out, but for retention and accuracy you need to be in another business but SH is the best in Medicare

Here they make going direct very difficult. Two weeks of phone calls not returned.

When I finally get ahold of a 'sales manager,' she doesn't know the training schedule, and can't get me a party id. But she tells me they have few leads.

WTF????

They're not even competitive here.... Just want the use of the logo.

Please.... who is a good fmo for this?

Senior Market Sales is good, so are Integrated Benefits. If you just want a street contract then PM or e-mail me and I can get you a contract.

We (United Insurance Group) are a FMO for UHC/SecureHorizons/AARP. drop me a PM and I will have someone get in touch with you regarding comp. etc.
