Why do I think a roofer just pissed you off.

So many roofers have a distaste for insurance agents and insurance companies, why sweat it?

As Oprah.... err, a roofer would say, "YOU get a roof! YOU get a roof! YOU get a roof!"

Roofing companies are scam artists and we all bear the cost of free roofs for all after hail the size of table salt or if your neighbor sneezes, causing a gust to damage your shingles.

What about the subs they use? Just heard of a dude that fell through a roof and died cuz the sub didn't mark the supports they cut out for a skylight the night before...

Why should agents have anything to do with roofers?

Or any contractor for that matter.

They typically should not. Unless the roofer is an *** that communicates like a child and is souring the Insureds relationship with the Agent because of how the Insurer is handling the claim.

Typically insurers don't deal with roofers, they deal with shinglers. The distinction is like night and day.
