Seriously, how Does a New Agent Stop Getting Flak for this Job?

Been in this beautiful business of ours for 9 months now and times are tough, as expected. I've read stories of super star agents who made MDRT within 6 months, but they are the 1%.

Did every successful agent deal with this from their loved ones in the beginning? I mean, geez...

Welcome to the jungle! In this microwave society that we live in its sometimes hard for those that love us to support a career choice that can seem like a crockpot. In this business s=c/t (success equals consistency over time). Share with them your 1, 3 and 5 year plans. Let them know how their support by not only doing business with you, but by referring people to do business with you will help you achieve those goals. I honestly don't think most people want to be dream thieves. But let their concern and devil's advocacy do it for them.
