MCCA fee will remain at $186 per year per vehicle.

The threshold also stays the same @ 530K.

This is surprising, seeing how it has increased $46 over 2 years. But it's not going up this year.
 
See, this is where the government can't help themselves. You are now required to have 'unlimited' medical insurance (Obamacare) that you must pay for. Why do you need to pay an additional fee to have unlimited medical on your auto policy?

This seems like double dipping to me.

That is definitely double dipping. although people with health insurance can select a lesser "excess medical benefits" option, it's still very pricey because the auto insurance company has to insure everyone for the first 530K of coverage.

This year, MI moved up to #1 on the list for most expensive auto insurance.

The governor and other lawmakers have expressed desire to overhaul the whole system. we'll see about that.
