For those of you with SIAA, what is your average commission % (P&C only)? I’ve been with them for 5 years now and I’m averaging 13% before bonus for new business. During the recruiting process, they were telling me 15-20% NB expected but I’m just not seeing that. I sold my captive agency I was averaging roughly these same numbers. Any insight? Service is averaging 10-12%.

Not surprised to read this about...almost any MGA. Sales vs Reality.
But - its helps to have more specifics. So much of commission comes down to what product you are selling in what state and if its a package or not. The commission tables by insurer and line of coverage are literally all over the map.
