Small Group Health in Virginia

I've got a 15 person group in Virginia I'm working on. I've only used Anthem in the past for the couple of groups I've done. Before I go beating my head against the wall again, does anyone know of more competitive providers in Virginia?

Call IMC, 301-468-8888 and ask to speak to Rob or Jodi. They are a GA for all the carriers in the state and will do everything for you, and since they get an override, they don't take any commission.

I would but my company currently uses FNBC as their health broker. They've got a few different carriers, I just want to find the worthwhile quotes instead of having to weed thru crappy carriers to find the good ones.

Have things changed? I was told that they only market Anthem and Aetna in VA.

They also offer World, UHC, and Optima now. I haven't really heard anything about World or Optima good or bad.

you might try assurant health they have the gateway network in virginia, optima has limited coverage i think but may be growing depending on the area your in.

You do realized these post are three years old, right?

Give a call to a broker's broker like Rogers Benefits. They know the market, don't take commissions, and do all the work.
