So Where is the Thread on H1's Annual Max Plans?

Must not be in VA yet as far as I've seen.....I wouldn't sell it anyway. The Monogram or highest deductible HSA's w/ Rx are good plans if someone really wants to keep their cost to a minimum.

I simply do not see a reason to sell this plan.

The underwriting is the same. This was the question I asked Humana at the Fort Lauderdale event this past Wednesday.

I talked with a client a few days ago that is dying from cancer. Started out as melanoma less than 2 yrs ago. Cancer free in December '08. Had a scan in January and found the cancer had metastisized to his lungs, liver and bones.

He has an HSA with GR he bought from me almost 4 years ago. His wife did not want to give up their BX copay plan, even though it saved them $300 a month. Took him about 3 months to bring his wife on board.

He has satisfied his deductible by March each of the last two years. The $5900 he pays allows GR to pay all bills for him and his family at 100% for the rest of the year.

The Annual Max plan would have bankrupted them last year.
