Received several emails about get this certificate.
Anyone have it, and has it been helpful in marketing
to the annuity market and LTC market,

Can you charge a fee to help people make these decisions?

I think it is called
National Assocation of Registered Social Security Analysts.

Fee based consulting for insurance products is based on your state. For example, in MI we have an insurance counselor license, in addition to a producer license, that allows licensees to charge a fee for insurance consulting.

To the benefit of getting an RSSA/NSSA... I worked for SSA for 7 years as a Disability Examiner.. For most people, the answer is pretty easy: Do you have a large income? Wait until you hit FRA. Actuarily, you tend to come out even regardless of when you apply EXCEPT when you have income that would offset the amount you would get before FRA.

Any specialized testing of this idea would be a really niche market and the smaller the market, the more you have to pay to hit the niche target.

Ymmv, but the only person that makes money with most certs is the org making the cert.
