I am currently covered under my husband's employer's health plan. Beginning in 2017 I can be no longer covered, if my employer offers coverage.

What kind of proof will my husband's employer ask for?

Most likely, your husband's employer's plan is not saying you can no longer be covered, but they are probably saying that they will not contribute toward your premium if you have an option to buy the coverage from your own employer.

All your husband's employer has to ask for is a statement saying that you are, or are not, offered employer-sponsored health insurance. You would have to disclose it accurately, or it would be fraudulent.
