State Farm Pulling All Health Plans? (IA)

Which health plans? I know in the past State Farm partnered with Fortis/Time/Assurant. If that's the case, then yes, Assurant is closing out it's health business (unless they somehow sell it soon). Here is Assurant's press release:

However I heard through the grapevine that they were planning on working with another carrier. I cannot remember exactly who as it doesn't directly involve our agency...but there was talks of another carrier.

I recall that as well. Is it Blue Cross?
SF had a deal with HCSC in the their states. (TX, OK, IL, NM, Montana). I just asked a buddy of mine in TX and he said the info they are getting is very confusing and the agents don't know if they are selling health or not this year.

As far as Missouri goes, they will be selling BCBS. I know they already write them in Illinois. This is what I have heard from my interactions with some SF agents.
Yes, rates are increasing drastically and agents may or may not ever be able to get certified.
