State of Georgia: Is Adderal (Brand) on Any PDPs?

Have a client who is aging in to Medicare.

Got him set up with a Med Supp. Looking for a PDP in the state of Georgia that has Adderal in their Formulary. Went to Medicare dot gov and looked. Did not see any.

Just wondering if I missed anything.

Looks like only the generic for Adderal is formulary. Doctor can request a "Formulary Exception". Better have a good reason other than, "I don't like generics".

Could check with Shire, the manufacturer of Adderall to see if they have a support program. I have found several brands that manufacture other drugs can be pretty generous, especially if not on the PDP formulary.

I didn't realize old fogies had ADHD. A couple of my sons had it and took Ritalin when they were in school.
