I settled a car insurance claim from when I was rear ended back in April of 2015. The settlement was finalized September of 2016. Medical insurance has not sent any notice of subrogation. Is there anything im supposed to do or just keep the settlement in my savings?

Well, if you treatments are over, and you're not getting bills, I'd say the money is yours to keep.

Is it possible these funds were really for something else, like lost wages, or pain & suffering?? There should be paperwork that states each amount paid as full and final settlement of the claim.

You can always contact the insurance company and ask if they are going to subrogate. Of course, if your case has fallen through the cracks, then you just reminded them to collect. While technically you do owe it, I can certainly understand hoping that you do not have to give any of the settlement to the health insurance company.

Also some more info I forgot.
1. Accident happened on base (camp Pendleton)
2. I have permanent scarring on my face
Don't know if this changes anything
