Surgeon Fees Covered Part A or Part B

When surgery is done IN THE HOSPITAL, are the surgeon & doctor fees covered under Part A or Part B.

Health Net says Part A because it is done in the hospital.

Blue Shield says Part B because it is for doctor services in and out of hospital.

if health net is a part C plan then the A and B charges are bundled together for IP charges and consumer pays only the IP co pays of plan

if the bcbs is a med supp then yes part b pays for physician charges IP and OP
