Surrendered Paid Up Still Earns Dividends?

Face amount earns dividends.

Paid up additions earn dividends.

Policy surrendered, no dividends.

Pua's surrendered, no dividends.

Similar to a 10 pay where a client stops paying on it, does the policy still earn dividends (for mutual companies)?
Appreciate any replies.

If you mean premium offset, yes the policy still has dividends, they are mostly used to pay premiums due. The overage goes into the policy increasing cash values and face amount. The annual increases are at a much slower rate as you are surrendering some PUAs to fund premiums.

At least that's how the ones I sold are working out now 25+ years later.
