Surrogacy Coverage?

Has anyone had any experience with individual health coverage covering surrogacy?

I just got a call out of the blue about and find myself pretty stumped on this one....... individual health coverage for maternity is pretty expensive and has low benefits in Wisconsin.

Maybe the high risk pool might be the only option?

Possibly an HMO, or Time.

Most (all?) HMO's cover maternity and do not require a family contract. In GA (and possibly other states) the Time plans with maternity can be issued on a single female.

I doubt they question how the woman got pregnant, who is the father, or who will take custody of the baby once born. Don't think you are going to find a plan that will cover AI or fertility drugs even if required.
