You really are too cheap to cough up $5000 a year for an HSA making $150,000? I agree, you have no idea what you are buying. I only advise short term for people for short gaps, or people who literally cannot afford employer or ACA coverage. Good luck with your employer, most will require proof of loss of CREDITABLE coverage before letting you on mid-year, especially if they are self-funded. They don't want people gaming the system like you want to do by refusing to pay in, but then wanting on when their health declines. Bye, won't waste any more of my time on you.
