what's the scoop on this company for selling med-sup's. Never done this market but they seemed to have a nice plan in place and also a lead program for production numbers

Overpriced.
Prior to Medicare Standardization in 1992, UA ruled the US! Standardization killed UA.
I can sell plan F to a T65 in zip code 95926 for $99/month.
I challenge a UA agent to post their premium rate.

Actually UA was one of the best companies to take a Med Supp with until around 1998. Their underwriting was basically "cay you fog a mirror".

They started getting hit with huge claims around that time and premiums shot through the roof. They have not been a major player since then.

The OP needs to be careful about being sucked in by any company that promises "leads". He will be sorely disappointed. I'm not sure he realizes that all Med Supp Plans are standardized.

Show me a rate sheet and I will eat crow.
Wow! Automatic claims filing. How can UA afford to throw that in for free.
