We always hear how life sales and personal savings/investing are down. Has anyone ever seen a study on life sales or saving pre and post DNC?

It seems like there are thousands of people on Go Fund Me looking for donations.

Since DNC was enacted in 2000 (I think), these results are probably a result of the DNC regulation.

Such analysis is misleading. Life insurance sales though direct phone sales was already declining before DNC. There were also no gofundme pages 20 years ago. Caller ID may have had a bigger impact anyway. 20 years ago you had to pay extra to get caller id. Now every cell phone comes with it.

My old NYL Managing Partner used to argue that cell phones were unnecessary for life insurance agents. Nothing would ever replace land lines.

I also thought Americans would never give up their cable TV. Oh well, my grandchildren won't know a cable guy.
