Basically this. Many agents refer to themselves as "financial advisors" or "financial coaches" yet they only know about selling ONE insurance product.

If you asked them about debt reduction strategies, expense to income ratios, retirement or estate planning, IRR, etc. they couldn't help you. Most can't tell you how to properly compare two similar insurance policies.
