I have been recruiting and advising independent life insurance agents for about 15 years. When reviewing ROP, I have found more agents who are not aware of this option than agents who are.

It still has it's place. However, it is not as strong as it was. Rates were lower and many more companies to choose from. Only a few now.

I can see where former captive agents or FE only agents would not be aware of different term plans.
