In the case of a third party auto claim involving the total loss of a vehicle, do rental car costs come out of policy limits? In other words, if the ACV of the totaled vehicle is $25,000, and policy limits are $25,000 and the insurance company has already paid $2,000 for the third party's car rental, does the third party get $25,000 or $23,000?
