I have seen a lot of lawsuits regarding Transamericas older universal life policy holders. I have seen many people complain they never even received the option to opt out of the lawsuit with Transamerica. I've also seen on a lot of message boards Transamerica policy holders say they never received a notice of there premium increasing and the consequence was their policy lapsed what was terminated. if you are in the situation you should contact your State insurance bureau immediately and have them request the envelope this information was mailed out to you. The envelope in most cases has a barcode list when it was mailed and what address it was mailed to. This is information I just discovered and I hope it helps any of you in this predicament
