The following underwriting changes will go into effect August 6, 2012:
- Changes in Diabetes Underwriting - Individuals requiring the use of insulin to control their diabetes commonly have other complicated health histories. As a result, they are often uninsurable. Therefore, Diabetics using insulin for any reason will no longer be considered for coverage.
- Removal of Underwriting Class 3 and 4. We are eliminating the use of Tables 3 and 4 in our underwriting.
