Transfer of Part D rx deductible between MA plans

Up until the reintroduction of the OEP, I don’t recall too many situations where an agent had to be concerned about this. Before that, The only ones that ever changed mid-year were LIS who didn’t have deductibles. The question- when a non-LIS prospect changes from one MAPD to another, does the already paid RX deductible transfer over to the new MAPD? By the next effective date immediately without a hitch?
