So I hear that Progressive is now offering livery coverage? Does anybody have any input on this?

If somebody wants legitimate coverage for doing Uber, it's my understanding they need to purchase legitimate livery insurance which is VERY expensive.

Are any personal lines carriers allowing this somehow?

To quote Uber through Progressive you have to call in to get the quote at this time. I did it a few weeks back. Not sure when it will be available to quote on our own.

Erie allows Uber drivers to classify their vehicle as "business use" in IL and IN I believe and they are trying to roll it out into more states.

Not sure how this is any different from livery service and why it's being looked at differently by carriers but it is.
