No underwriting and no waiting periods on pre-existing conditions.
New rules in 2019 for dual SNP: only allowed to change plan once a quarter. Used to be any day no limit on number of times.

yes, Alston. You're right. End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
As stated above there is no underwriting or pre-ex for any Medicare Advantage plan. A little more detain on ESRD. You typically cannot enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan if you already have ESRD. You can enroll in a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan (SNP) if you have ESRD, but only if that SNP plan specifically serves individuals with ESRD.
