But I thought they offered superior service? Which justified paying more for the same coverage? Apparently that was a lie.

I just referred supp clients them when some of the more expensive drugs are covered better then other PDP's, I do this at as a last resort. Today I was trying to help a clients he and wife got supp with me.earlier in the week. His wife at that time showed the lowest annual out of pocket with UA by over 2k, Went to do app this morn and it wasn't there.He is not so happy right now to say the least.

I recently enrolled someone through Medicare.gov in a United American PDP plan.

I just checked and in my zip code, I usually show 32 PDP's available. Now only 29. UA is MIA. I've had many CS issues with PDP's through UA this year. Would not surprise me if they got spanked by CMS.

and with all these fines seems like just day to day cost of doing buis for a plan to be gone must be big
The UA website states they can't take enrollment a at this time. But of course gives no reason.

Actually on FAQ ling it seems to indicate it has something to do with the processing of coverage determinations, appeals, and grievances.
It does not get more into it then that
