Was informed this morning, United World has a new commission schedule for Texas and most states. T65 guarantee issue will be .05% first year and 1.25% year 2-7., and 0% after year 7. I called and spoke with compensation and apparently they just received the information also but said effective July 1st, new commission rates are in effect. Underwritten policies in rates remain at 22%. makes me wonder will all companies be doing this in the near future?

I am confused T65 is OE, not GI

GI is generally near 0 commissions

Open enrollment pays the same. They did not change that. And yes, T65 is OE, not GI.

IEP is an MA or PDP designation has nothing to do with medsupp

You need to know this stuff if you sell MA or PDP

Well I guess I learn something knew everyday.
I was taught IEP stood for initial enrollment period for Medicare. Which means the time period of 3 months before you turn 65 and 3 months after you turn 65. Maybe you mean Annual Enrollment Period. I'm not going say anything smart back to you though!

Not trying to be smart but this is the basics

You are correct on the 3 months Before after and so forth but it applies to MA and PDP Not Med Supp

Med Supp is OE with is 6 month's starting when part B begins

Did you pass the AHIP test?

You're talking about MA and you got that wrong. It's 3 months before the birthday month, the birthday month and 3 months after the birthday month, for a total of 7 months. You need to "now" what you're talking about. I'm glad you learned something "knew" today.

Just curious...who taught you that? :err:
