Has there already been discussion on the United World Rate Increases?

9% on most of the rest.

I wonder when IN's will be? I have been loading up YIO with people that have UW over the last year. I hope we get a big one. I only have 4 people with UW that I sold.

They had a rate increase last year, but so did a lot of the other carriers in the area.

They are still very competitive in KC even after the increase.

Well...since my main med supp co. had an increase of 15% here in MS, I figure just a matter of time before everybody else does the same.

So far it's been nice offering a plan f in the low 80's/mo. Guess that's fixing to be a thing of the past.

Will the rate adjustment take effect at the same time for everyone or on their anniversary date? Does it matter if they paid an annual premium?

Some companies do it on the date of the increase, unless they pay annual. CGI,CRL, and PAHLIC did it this way. The only rate guarantee was for the first 6 months or for people that pay annual.

So far with UW it's been on the renewal date. The poster asked specifically about someone who paid annual, so for them, it would be on the renewal date.
