Universal Going "Consumer Direct?"

Saw this ad on Youtube last night. When i went to their website, it verified that they were going "consumer direct." Not sure how sucessful they will be, but i'm sure lots of agents will not be happy.

Dan Marino (celebrity whore that he is) is plugging their wares...

So Basically, Universal thinks they can save the 10-15% (or whatever they pay an agency) and market their product "cheaper" than through an agency distribution channel.

That's the way i'm reading it.
