Want to Hire an Overseas Telemarketer? Here's How! (it's Easier Than You Think)

You can hire Filipino telemarketers at onlinejobs.ph

You can read the resumes of people Filipinos looking for positions. You can see test results of those looking for jobs. In some cases you can actually hear audio conversations of the telemarketers making an actual call to see if they have an accent.

You can interview those you think would be a good match and negotiate directly with them.

And, you pay them through the site.

Most are looking for positions for $3 - $5 an hour. If you hire one full time it is expected you will pay them an extra months salary during the month of December. I understand that is common in poor countries so the workers will have extra money for their families for Christmas.

In most cases they are experienced telemarketers. I don't know if they use dialers or not. Hire one of them and give her access to a dialer via Internet loaded with a list of prospects from your area. Be patient while she learns how to use the dialer. Write a short script for her and tell her to learn it. Then pay her $4 or $5 PER LEAD so she can make decent money (for them) instead of just taking advantage of their low labor costs. Treat her right and your lead problem would be solved. Once she learns how to use the dialer she would make 2 or 3 leads an hour and be making $8 - $15 an hour and your lead problem would be solved.

If she doesn't produce for you let her go and hire another one till you find one that will produce all the leads you want. Then treat her gently and send her a bonus once in a while.

onlinejobs.ph has 3 different pricing plans. One is free.

The only possible problem I see might be the quality and speed of the Internet there. The dialing systems need a good quality Internet connection. If you contact one have her go to speedtest.net and it will tell her how fast her Internet service is. Might not be a problem. There are major call centers in Manila who telemarket to the US but they probably install their own high speed lines to handle the traffic.

You can also find Filipinos on upwork.com along with highly experienced Americans telemarketers. On upwork.com you can search for just US telemarketers or other outside the US. You can also contact them for free on upwork.com

By the way, the $1000 "set up" fee that is charged by some scam artist for setting you up a Filipino call center is a giant rip off. He is doing nothing but hiring workers from onlinejobs.ph and putting the $1000 in his pocket.

Have a great day!

You sound like you're pretty knowledgeable about the subject - is this even worth it though? Seems like a big hr pain in the neck to arrive at the same per lead cost that you could get from discounted through a BGA...
