Water Damaged Vehicle

Hello..my name is curtiatahseen1 and my car has flood damage for storm Irma..they say the car is repairable. Its a 2017 Chevy Malibu .it's approaching 30days and the rental has to go back.the dealer says another 3wks at least the part is on back order.when I return the rental I will have no car to get to work.at this point what should I expect from the insurance company moving forward?
