I have my own E&O. I'm with an agency, MLM but looking to get contract as a GA. I'm trying to get ANICO. Who would you recommend for people with pre-existing existing condition? What are the best FE out there? Are there any final expense that gives dividend and cash value? Best IUL? I want to be the go to agent for all life insurance needs. I want to monopolize the industey!! Lol

You've failed already.

You need to focus on an ideal market profile and provide either a product to that profile, or a process for advice.

You cannot be "everything to everybody" and succeed in any meaningful way. Better to partner with other specialists than to try to do it all. I'd focus on one, maximum two ideal client profiles and keep your focus there.

I know you don't want to give out the secret of the trade which is fine by me. I understand. I understand the different type of insuramce. The problem I come across with is not qualifying people who has pre-existing existing condition. I know there are some carriers out there that's lenient. I know there are better IUL with better ABR and allocations for cash. Wonder what are top 3 to contract with. I'm currently taking advantage of my MLM agency by using their training and office while I write for other carriers. My up line ain't getting nothing from me.

Why not? They took advantage of me. I paid $125 to join. Promise I can use the office whenever I wanted. Now they are saying, oh, when your RMD, you need to pay your portion. All these MLM is scam. But I'm focusing on producing. Just curious which carriers pays best.

Also, I made them money.. made them over $6500 in premium and I got 75% of 30% of the 6500.. so I think I paid a lot for training. Barely cover the cost of getting licensed and insured. . Plus food and gas. Oh, and all the crap I have to buy to get in the door for my warm market as a powerful tool as persuasion

I am sure that if you take a poll, the majority of all the successful agents or FMO's on this forum have been taken advantage in one form or another early in their careers, me being one of them. However, that made me appreciate my ethics and core values even more as I built an agency. Just because I was taken advantage of when I started in the industry does not give me the right to take advantage of my agents, managers and staff. You are a grown man and you can make your own decisions, however the ethical thing to do is cut ties with your MLM and move on. You are harboring to much animosity and it can be counter productive. The best revenge is you being successful.

As far as wanting info on the best FE contracts and companies, I am not in the FE space. However, if you do a search of some of the older threads, your question should get answered. Best of Luck.

The best way to make great money in this business is find a system that works for the field agent not just the folks at the top. If you have to recruit other agents to make a living that's not a great insurance agency in my opinion. If you are a great recruiter then you can make money with those firms but the field agents starve until they find more "agent victims." Just remember in those firms, unless you can make money on your own pen, the money flows upward.

There are a number of strong IMOs which have systems to sell Final Expense, Mortgage Protection, Annuities or Retirement planning with IULs. Here are a just a few: ECA, Asset Protectors and Advisers, the Milner Group, the Kingdom Group, Marketing Resources, Clay Peek, and Cary Levinson of Levinson and Associates.

Just remember a great contract and no one to see is a sad place to be. Look for IMOs that at least have some lead system or can point you to a vender that has leads. Plus if you learn to ask for referrals and prospect on your own, you're golden.

I don't know of any big producer that didn't have a niche. That does mean you can't sell life and Medicare Supplements and Annuities and Car Insurance. You can but you probably won't be as successful. The one exception is an overlay or cross sell. That's when a client wants your policy but also needs something else. For example, if you're in the Senior market, you can cross sell Medicare supplements and LTC Annuities or Auto insurance with an accident plan.

All the best

From what you've posted, you got a lot of things to learn. The first thing is to set your ego aside. This business is more of like a mentor/doctor approach rather than a Sales (Wolf of Wall Street) approach. With that being said, base on what you asked:

Contract: Best I've heard is 170% commission with you owning your client 100% and there's an exit plan with no strings attached. But this is for people whom has been in the business for awhile and has proven to be one of the top producer. Street level for Independent Agent is 110%

Best Carrier: There's no best carrier. You need to find a niche that you can stick to. Say you specialize in final expense (FE) then Mutual of Omaha FE may be one of the best for you. Or that you focus on people with Aids/HIV, then there's a carrier for that. Right now, you're everywhere doing too much.

The MLM Agent: I understand you're trying to weave yourself by starting on the wrong foot but be assured all of us has gone a certain route that we wish we didn't. Stay calm and focus.

People with pre-existing condition: Ok, here's the secret to this. You need to do your homework and read up/research which company are lenient on what. Many times, this comes with time and experience. Going independent with an insurance aggregator (wholesale) seems best fit for you since you want to be jack of all trade BUT master of none. In this industry, you got to find a niche my friend.

Good Luck!

If you're still in the business, you can contract Direct with ANICO.
