Hi. I'm no expert in final expense aka whole life, but are there any that has a return of premium, cash value, ABR? No incontestability? Pretty existing medical condition? No health exam for cancer patients etc.. any best company for Final expense? I hear GERBER is one of the best. I'm not sure but we can get the conversation started as this industry is always changing. Thanks!

Oh man where to begin.

First, there is no insurance company that does not contest claims during the first two years outside of the states that disallow contests on replacements.

There are no whole life return of premium policies. That's a term life only thing.

"Pretty existing condition"- What the heck does that even mean?

No final expense policy has a health exam. However, I think you might be referring to health questions and/or a health assessment in some fashion. It has nothing to do with cancer patients or any other health issue. There are two types of final expense policies. One has health questions. Another does not which is called guaranteed issue coverage.

There is no "best company" for final expense. You need to have a mixture of companies to be able to competitively serve your client's individual situations. You can search this forum for the top companies to get a sense for which companies are the top ones to have in your bag.

Gerber is a great GI company. It's extremely price competitive. However, having a good GI carrier is only one piece of the puzzle. You would not want to sell final expense while only having Gerber. That would be like traveling to Mexico for plastic surgery. Don't do it!

GL!

Thanks for response. "Pretty existing condition " was refering to Pre-existing (typo)

I know that guarantee is very pricy. I know with the health questions, they already pull your MIB, they just want client to answer truthfully.

What is a GI company?

I'm trying to start a GA but want to service all ages. I don't want to walk away from a clients home and not have all the tools I need to run their app. If I can get pets insured, I do that too!

You were already given advice in the other thread you started that you are failing before you start by not narrowing your focus. Add in that you think it's OK to take advantage of your current upline because you feel you have been taken advantage of and you are certainly on the wrong path.

Doesn't mean you can't change directions. By your posts you know almost nothing about the business. Chose a market, get with an IMO that services that market and trains agents for that market and then follow what they teach.

Right now you're doing the shotgun approach and doing it without ammunition.

I like to see a specialist paycheck. I don't buy leads. First year agent I don't expect to make much. I understand the business. I had my own business before this. I still do matter of fact. I do this part time, the other half I study. Studied 2 years on products and sales, license and on field since May 2017. I feel it's the blind leading the blind. Those agency are about recruiting. A guy less than a year giving pointers. I wasn't train by season vets. I was self taught most the time. Read books. Your statement of specialists making more is bullcrap. It's how you run your business and market it. I don't buy leads, at least not for now. I need to build Capitol first the most inexpensive way possible. I've seen a lot of Primemerica guys and I know how that work. I've seen veteran agents of 10+ years still have a full time job and not doing life full time. If I know another agent can come behind me and do a 1035, then that indicates to me that I'm doing something wrong or clients canceling policies. Of course there's always room to learn. Even veteran agents can agree there's always room for learning. Just find the golden egg. Most these agents strike it rich by finding people who could afford to buy these product. My clients is cheap. Im focus on Asian market because I'm Asian and I speak the language. People do business with people they like regardless if the product is good or bad. They will buy from you if they like you. My goal is market to everyone. It's like having a Walmart vs a store that only sells brooms. A mall vs someone that sells just fidget spinners. It's hoe you want to structure your business. Again, this is a business because I'm not captive. I'm independant so I feel I need volume and in order for me to get volume, I have to cover all ages. The carriers help you with their products too and explain what it is. There's thousands of product for everyone. So why offer just a Term or WL or IUL? That's not bringing value to a customer. As long you know the general function of each lroduct, then you can master it by being a guru for each. Knowing every companies product and illustrations, guidelines, payment method etc.. I don't expect much as a 1st year business owner. But I know 10 years from now, I will be successful than majority of the insurance agents that started out with Primemerica.

Owe, btw, heard of first financial Securities (FFS) ?
Own by Phil Gelicher. Their training is mostly recruiting. Right now, I'm not in position to build an agency. Not there yet. But when I do, that's the business model I want. MLM. But And another thing I want to mention, nobody is lining up to buy life insurance. You have to educate the consumer first before they buy. It's a very difficult industry. Maybe once I get enough experience, I will likely change up my demographic markets. Maybe become an accountant or CPA and offer 401k ,IRA product to business owners. But for now, I want all my families and friends to know, I'm not who I was before, I'm the lifetime wealth and retirement advisor.

If someone reads knighton comment and sees any value, please paraphrase. Two lines in, I lost interest.
