Looking to expand my territory. Interested in any thoughts people have about a state they would love to sell in and those states people would want to stay away from?

Other agents have suggested that any state they're not in will be the best for P&C.

I personally don't like NY and NJ very much when I had a non-resident state there. Mainly that was for the servicing stuff like adding cars and doing this crap and the other. The premiums were nice though.

If you wear that hounds tooth hat in any other state you won't have much luck no matter where you go
just what I have heard and we did a lot of research on AZ from past producers for us who have moved there, but its not that AZ is bad but the carriers are very bipolar in their preferred markets and that there are drastic changes from one zip to another making it very hard to specialize in any one market... Ca, and NV are really good for what we do.
